Ms. Christa Jemison
Partner/Center Director
Christa Jemison has been a dedicated educator for 31 years, driven by a passion for fostering the growth and development of children. For 18 years, Christa inspired and educated students as a teacher, laying the foundation for their academic success. She then served as an elementary Assistant Principal for 11 years, where she led with compassion and dedication, supporting both students and staff. Most recently, Christa spent the last two years as an owner of 'A Better Day Academy', creating a nurturing environment that emphasized strong academic and social-emotional development.
Christa participated in several project-based learning initiatives with fellow administrators within the district. Her tireless commitment to improving student outcomes and fostering a positive, inclusive school environment has left a lasting impact on the children, families, and communities she serves.
Ms. Tiarrah Kent
Partner/Operations Manager
Tiarrah Kent is an educational leader who collaboratively works with school administrators, teachers, youth, and community-based organizations to provide high-quality education in a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
After serving over 7 years as the Dean of Student Engagement at Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Tiarrah transitioned as the Director of Collaboration and Partnerships for Novaturient Industries. She is currently serving as the Founder and Vice President of ForeverMom Legacy.
In addition, Tiarrah is also the owner of A Better Day Academy Childcare Center bridging gaps for children going into kindergarten. She is a partner for the Minority Resource Networking Expo and has recently been honored by the Black Professionals Association Charitable Foundation Emerging Legends 40 under 40 class. Lastly, Tiarrah serves on a Board of Directors for the prestigious United Black Fund and is a proud mother of her 7-year-old daughter.
Tiarrah's goals are to ensure the success of those around her by shifting the paradigm in which we think, hence, "We cannot reach for the stars, holding onto the grass.”
